Aloha, Nice to meet you.

My name is Renée Tillotson.

Renée founded Still & Moving Center in 2011 and became the legacy founder of the Academy of Mindful Movement in 2021. Now, in 2024 she writes her first book about the art of moving Mindfully.

Renée’s eleven-year gymnastics career catapulted her into the world of competitive movement and dance.

In 2002 Renee found Nia, a multidisciplinary movement modality.  She is certified at the highest level of Nia: Black Belt, 2nd Degree, and has taught Nia since 2003.

Renée says, "Through Nia I realized that I was born to dance...and perhaps everyone is! For me, Nia is not just a connection to pure Joy, it’s a moving meditation. My aspiration is to extend that Joy into the rest of my life and share it with every mover who steps into my circle."
